He's on fire at Swansea three goals in as many games I'm pleased for him.

Talked about getting a chance to play by going on loan despite having an 8 week old at home in Brum.
Sounds like he doesn't expect to come back as the deal means he gets gabe time and the club get a player's value to increase.
Said once Ross came in, his game time was going to be limited as the club paid a lot of money for him (!)
Talked about it being a privilege to play with Jack and to be able to call him a good friend (football friend)
Doing his coaching badges with the FAI currently.
Prefers playing higher up the pitch with Swansea and was told before signing that they saw him as a no. 8.

Doing his badges already?! What a work ethic, fair play to him. Did he ask H Lansbury to tag along and do the course with him?

Love him!

If we'd have had more Conor Hourihanes in the first half of the 2010s we'd have never been relegated in the first place.

Scored again. That's 4 goals in 4.5 games.

Let's face it, the Championship's too easy for him!!

From an Ireland POV, I'm delighted he's playing well and scoring. From a Villa POV, he's 30 now and if he's not getting minutes, there's no harm in leaving him go and he's adding to his value all the time. To be fair, he's been brilliant for us and he's still contributing.

How does he do for Ireland?

He does his job, but can go missing. The last day, there was a free that was made for him and he allowed Robbie Brady to talk him out of taking it. I was disappointed in him that he didn't tell Brady where to go.

He missed a golden chance in the play off fornthe Euros against Bosnia(?). In a desperately poor Irish squad, I'm not even sure he's a regular. I'd rather have him at the moment at Villa in his current form though than Barkley or possibly even McGinn in his form at the moment.

I wouldn't in any way, shape or form. Great guy, but I think this is a case of absence making the heart grow fonder.

Indeed. One of the good guys.
