I am very happy about that. By Christ that was good.

Wasn't it just? Don't know about them but I'm knackered just having watched it!

I was gunning for Federer of course, bit I was almost miffed when it ended because it was just so amazing to watch. They're just the best two players ever, surely - and without a doubt theirs is the best rivalry in tennis ever, and maybe in all sport.

Unusual end to the Davis Cup tennis. Britain win 3-2 after Canadian player disqualified for whacking the ball away in a strop, and hitting the umpire.

Just what the sport needs: another Kyrgios.

He tried to whack it over the stand having a tantrum at being broken again. Unfortunately he cocked that up as well and twatted it into the umpires eye. Better than watching the half time show in the Super Bowl.

I don't think he's that bad. It was just a mistake and he looked extremely apologetic afterwards.

Konta wins the Miami open and is now ranked 7th in the world.

Possible major this year?

I think I've mentioned on here that her hitting partner and some time coach is a huge Villa fan and was offered terms to join us as a kid - Andrew Fitzpatrick. He said to me after Konta won, and I quote, " Is it weird I'm just as pumped about the villa win?"

Fantastic win and her meteoric rise continues.

Konta is a breath of fresh air on the WTA circuit. No drama, no hysterics, no baggage, no Sports Illustrated swimsuit modelling gigs...

Forgot what thread I was in, misread that as "Kodjia", and was throughly confused.

I should probably go to sleep.
