Usual Australian shite about beating the Poms, having a dig about the men & women winning the Ashes, maybe someone should have pointed out how shit their rugby team is, even fucking Scotland beat them.

The Australian Prime Minister is an ungracious c*** isn't he.
He is Austarlian.

Interesting selection, need to be careful how we bowl him. We don't want to bury him like we did Kerrigan and Borthwick.

As are England. I'm here all week.

Might need a bit of cheering up once it starts!!  It will be interesting to see how Crane goes, but his inclusion will leave us with a long tail.

Seems a bit early for me, he's got some natural ability but, like all young leggies, he gets smacked around a bit.  We need to be very clear that he's there to go after wickets and set fields and manage the game situation to give him the chance to do that.  If he gets hit around a little we can't just pull him out of the attack for half a day or we're just going to ruin him.

Darren Gough was saying similar on Talksport earlier Paul.  He's got five wickets at 60's so far on the tour which speaks volumes about where he is in his career.  Seems to have something about him though so you never know.

England's day up until last 10 minutes. Harsh on Root, as he got a good score, but his wicket has opened the door and now Bairstow is gone and we're into the tail. We'll be lucky to get 280 as opposed to the 400 we should get.

Agree Paul, those two wickets right at the end could be a real hammer blow.  We need Malan and Ali to put together a big partnership tomorrow.

Last 10 minutes have swung the game in the Aussies favour. In that ten minutes England went from favourites in the betting to 4-1 outsiders.

I wish they’d stop showing and talking about the bloody ‘Barmy Army’, they are the cricket equivalent of the Sheffield Wednesday/England band only with added boorish, pissed up blokes.

I thought the day completely summed up the tour. Got ourselves into a good position before throwing the advantage away, Australia just kept it tight and hung in there and England couldn't see it through. That's why we're 3-0 down.
