This pitch looks flat already. It's going to be hard work today.

Very ominous already. This is a huge ask for Curran.

What odds Warner to get a hundred before lunch on this. Coming on to the bat and he can just hit through the line and be aggressive.

Jimmy and Broady have done well so far. Successive maidens and good pressure. It’s getting hot bordering on very hot now.

Hope you've got the factor 50, where are you sitting, high up?

Pitch looks very flat but maybe a touch slow, the edge just dropped well short. There's another short one that got to him late.

I thjnk that's what we should be looking at because there's no swing.

Right at the front lower tier 10 rows back Don Bradman end sweating buckets already.
Paul e the pitch is slow. Bowling has to be top notch to keep any control on this.

This is going to be a dreadfully boring test if the pitch stays like this. We don't even have a Maxwell to liven things up for a bit.

Warner caught on 99, first wicket for Tom Curran, fuck off gobshite, a small victory. But no, this is England, ofcourse let's check the front foot, no ball. Warner gets his hundred next ball.

Just when you think things can't get any worse we always manage to find away.

Gobshite goes for 103. Smith comes out. Decent session so far for England.

It’s been tough out there for bowlers and I think they have done well. A couple of wickets in the last session will be good. Khawaja is very unsure. They need to come out with a plan to get rid of him quickly. And it’s getting hotter with no respite the sun is directly above burning us😟

Looks like Smith will be getting yet another ton, need quick wickets tomorrow to keep the game open knowing how we collapse.

Maybe I shouldn't mention tomorrows forecast temperature then if you thought today was hot.

So Australia to get around 500 and we'll be out for around 250 we reckon? Sounds like bowlers bowled tidily without being able to penetrate much.
