All out for 403. Last 6 wickets for 35. Showed very little ticker. I fear 403 probably wont be enough on this deck with this outfield. Australia suddenly have momentum. We do know how to shoot ourselves in the foot.

Need to bowl and catch really well.

6-35 is fucking pathetic. Incredible effort from Malan and Bairstow, absolutely hopeless from those that followed. Bowlers owe a big performance now.

So extras outscored six of our line up. I think we should move him up the order.

A good start but we need Smith out soon.

As an aside here's yet another Aussie captain that I don't like or respect. The only recent captain that I had a begrudging respect for was Ponting. Do they instruct them to be as obnoxious and self-centred as possible? Border, Taylor and Waugh weren't like that.

We really need another couple of quick wickets to get on top.

Missed a golden opportunity to make the kind of score which would really put us in a really strong position.

It's a staggeringly poor collapse to be 369-4 and then within a few hours the game is evenly balanced, if not in Australia's favour.

Woke up this morning and expected us to still be batting, with well over 500 on the board. FFS.

We'll draw this, at best.

It's a dismal effort from the tail, really pathetic. Malan and Bairstow did more than anybody could expect and then to offer up no resistance was awful.

Here's one that not many seem to have mentioned, if Broad doesn't do something pretty special in the rest of this game I'd consider dropping him for the next game mainly because his batting infuriates me. He has much more talent he shows and he appears to put not effort in to dig in.

Broad is shit scared of fast bowling.  That's why he bats like he does, he's just not up for it when there's pace around.

I appreciate the lack of talent or form with the bat means you can look ungainly as a lower order player but to consistantly shit the bed like he does isn't fucking on anymore.

We basically play with 9 batters + 2 that really don't want to be out there. And the Aussies know it too.
