Special mention for the portable barbed wire fence they still roll out around the away entrance. And you won't see more bored looking coppers on horses all season. Not quite sure what they were expecting.

And, for the first time ever, I had a seat where I could almost see both goals. A true Christmas miracle.

Well dug out and deserved win in the end. We don't half make hard work out of this though.
Baker staying fit to partner Chester is crucial for us. Soooo much stronger defensively. We could do with a new centre half in Jan as Elphick is a liability and our only backup

Also, there was an ovation, rather than an egging, for Tim F. Sherwood from our fans. Baffling.
That is very, very worrying.

To be fair i thought Gabby made a difference when he came on.  Zero impact on our striking ability but at least their defenders were more troubled than when McCormack was on e.g. no easy headers

As others have said, Jedinak, Baker, Kodjia and Chester were the pick.

We need to calm down a bit and start finding people with passes, rather than aiming it long at the earliest opportunity. McCormack had a poor game, but jumping for half balls is never his game.

I'm never happy with the mentality when we go up either - slowing the game down too much and taking our foot off the pedal will see many leads lost

It wasn't pretty but neither is the Championship; needs must.

Loved the Kodjia attitude - he was absolutely determined to go and win the game.

Why? He saved us from relegation and took us to a cup final including the memorable  semi final win so well done to our away supporters.

Chester is such a solid player. Week after week.
Whereas Elphick is such a fluid player weak after weak.

He didn't save us from relegation, he set us up beautifully for it.
