Or maybe it takes time for talented left backs to fully get over bad injuries? That Luke Shaw guy at Man. United isn't pulling up any trees this season is he?

About 15 Bournemouth Lions met in a pub not more than 3 miles from the ground that ran its own shuttle bus. Easy enough, although quite a wait to get back to the pub afterwards. Didn't think much of the Amex. The whole build up to the game felt more like going to a concert than to watch football. How lucky we are to have such a wonderful stadium as Villa Park. Walking up to the game is just part of the whole match day experience. Great performance and support.
Houghton clearly knew that we set up with the fullbacks playing fairly close to the centre backs in order not to leave gaps down the side . They tried to keep their wide men hugging the touchline and hit them with accurate cross field balls, I think it harsh to criticise the fullbacks in this circumstance as it is a combination of them sticking to the game plan and the accuracy of the passing.
Preparation, organisation, determination. It makes all the fucking difference.
Missed the Bruce and Hughton post-match interviews - anyone know where I can find them?
