If Westwood does get a move I'd like to wish him all the best. He might be limited in ability but he has always been reliable and puts a shift in. He's never been involved in any off field crap like certain others either.

Hardly ITK but just asked my WHU colleague about the Hogan thing and he reckons the hierarchy want him but that Billic isn't mad keen. Hope so.

Daft thing is, and I can't believe I'm saying it, with Tish gone if we lose pointy, it doesn't leave a lot of midfield depth if any of the new lot get injured/don't cut it.......
You have just said EXACTLY what I was thinking.

I can't think of any scenario in the second half of the campaign where I might go, 'we could really do with Westwood now.'

Famine, pestilence, whatever. We'll be grand.

I know everyone hates Westwood but I wish him luck

Not the player I thought he might be at the end of lambert's first season and I have my doubts he can cut it in burnley's 442

But nowhere near as bad as some would say

Having said all that, pretty chuffed at £5m!

Agree. Bet he is probably a really nice fella so good luck to him. £5m f in quid. Great deal for us

He's always given his all, so I'll wish him well.

I'll still be delighted to get FIVE MILLION POUNDS though.

I wish him well as well. Glad he's going but seemed a decent fella, caused us no off the pitch problems and was one of the very few players that looked gutted at Manure when relegation was confirmed.

Me too. Selling him for that price having bagged the three we have feels like taking the break up call from the girlfriend you've had enough of whilst sitting in a jacuzzi with a bevy of naked page 3 stunnas.
