Can't say i'm too bothered about Ayew but would have been far better to have kept him and got Agbonlahor and McCormack out of the club. Easier said than done.

Do you mean the doorways are too narrow??

My preference would have been all 3 gone but as you say easier said than done.

7m for Ayew given his form is legendary
If on some planet Swansea's third choice left back is worth £2m.

And even if he is, £7m for Ayew is peanuts.  Why not keep one of our few players capable of turning a game?

Not a knock at you in any way but when was the last time that Ayew turned a game in our favour?

Hogan, Long, Hernandez are the names I've seen rumoured on Twitter as this 'mystery signing'. I'd take any of them to be fair, all better than Rhodes.

Given its so close to the end of the window, I wonder if this is a player who wanted a move to a/another Premiership club and it hasn't happened, therefore we are in for him.  Grasping at straws like everyone else! Long, Hogan, Tammy Abrahams?

Loic Remy's name has popped up on Twitter also. And Captain Caveman's.

Hernandez, fresh from his double-penalty Juan Pablo Angel-pwning at the weekend? Nah, you're alright.

It won't be Remy, he's already out on loan at Palace.

Latest rumour I've read on Twitter is Westwood to Burnley - be nice to bag a couple of million for him

Now it's got us all keyed up, nothing less than Benteke weeping tears of joy on the Holte End will suffice.

The mystery player won't be any mentioned on Twitter, or anywhere else.
Bruce has said this player has never been rumoured, so I'm expecting a complete surprise.

Saying that, if you throw enough names about you might get lucky  :)

Well we don't need James Milner anymore with all the new signings so it's good to dream...

If I was to have a really wild guess, that would be it.
On loan until the end of the season with option to buy if we go up?

Incidently,  his Wikipedia page has him coming to us!!

The only reason Palace would sell is the need the money to re-invest to fight for survival.  Loaning him to us would be the worst of both worlds for them.
