Re his spell at Notts County, I thought a year amongst cloggers old enough to be his younger uncle would have served him well for the Championship in terms of dealing with rough treatment but he has let his petulant side come to the fore this season more often than you'd want.

I don't see any evidence of this petulance on the pitch that you speak of.

Grealish should be tearing this league up as should Ayew, Ayew looks like a sulky twat, do Boro want him?

Grelish No way

He kicked that Wolves player and got banned for three games. That was pretty petulant.

Maybe he wasn't kicked around the pitch then as much as he is now. He's more of a well known name now so he is targeted. As for his petulance, I've not seen much of that. Do you have any examples of such?

That's football for you. I don't see that a sign of petulance and a reason to sell.

No I've made clear he would be the first name on the team sheet for me but it was petulant to kick out like that and it cost us, however little protection he was getting from the ref. He really will have to learn to deal with it, an earlier game, I forget which, he was just laughing as players hacked at him. He doesnt seem to be enjoying it so much now.

His snide kick out leading to a sending-off against Wolves in Bruce's first game.

That's not exactly seeing his petulant side come out 'more often than you'd want' as you put it, it was once. Maybe once too many, but it's hardly a fair stick to beat him with.

All players kick now and again, especially players who are targeted like grealish is. In fact I think he's done well not to lash out even more.

Cardiff away, sarcastically applauding the ref for giving him a free, got a yellow. let the situation get to him that game I thought when he looked a threat for us

I wasn't there but according to the commentary he got kicked all over the park, on some occasions off the ball. He had wound up Warnock in the first game at VP which might explain it though.

I don't get some people's thinking that just because we've brought some new players in, everything's going to be fine and we can afford to let some good players go.

We're not talking about selling Gordon Cowans and David Platt. We're talking about Jack.

Yeah but it's potentially like only ever putting pepper on your food and when you finally get some salt you get rid of the pepper.

We just bought some decent CMs and now we have folks petitioning for Jack to go?

In every Pre-Match thread 95% of members put Jack in the starting XI.

We beg for collective creativity from the midfield and now we want Jack to go?

The fact the fucking BORO go from chasing Jesé, who is a damn good player, to Jack should speak volumes. Why in the hell would we get rid of an academy player that for a while was the only player in the squad that could trap a football, dribble past a defender and play fluid from box to box.

Fickle is the very definition of this conversation. So pathetic.
