Modou Barrow swap for Ayew according to the Daily Star on Newsnow.

hope not

Ayew is worth a lot more than him

i would say one of RMC or ayew will be going and as it looks RMC head is stuck on a gate maybe SB will keep Ayew

Barrow isn't worth what Ayew is, as poor as he has been this season. Joke rumour from the Star.

Barrow has just been sworn in as president of Gambia so it's unlikely he will be coming to play for us.

I like barrow. Only seen him once or twice but the first time was when he came on (I think) in the 1-1 or 2-1 defeat against them a season or two back. he tore us apart. Saw him once or twice since then and he looks a tidy player with a fair bit of pace. I'd definitely get him in.
This article in the S.Wales Post ( Oct 17th ) seems to verify your comments.................Godzvilla!
" Mercurial Mo Barrow embodies Swansea City at present - plenty of promise but a lot to work on "

"I think he's just scratching the surface. My gosh, this is a player with talent."

Those are the words of Swansea City boss Bob Bradley on winger Mo Barrow.
The Gambian was a constant menace at the Emirates on Saturday.
There were audible sighs of relief from the crowd - and Nacho Monreal in particular - when he was substituted in the second half.
Barrow played a key role in Swansea's second, picking out Borja Baston for the Spaniard's first goal in Premier League football.
He once again ghosted past Monreal - no slouch himself - and found Borja with a calm pass. The striker was surrounded by red shirts, but the weight of pass from Barrow allowed the club-record signing to stroke the ball past Petr Cech first time.
It was another impressive performance from the pacey winger; almost without question he looks the most dangerous player when he is involved for Swansea.

Ever since he broke on the scene - with electric speed, obviously - against the same opponents two years ago at the Liberty, he has made a difference in the attacking department.

My immediate thought would be, if he is any good, then why are they prepared to let him go/swap him for Ayew?

Agree.Barrow came on last season and totally destroyed a class, rapid left back,Kieran Richardson.Sherwood didn't act to bolster the left hand side despite repeated let offs, and Ayew,Andre scored the winner ,2-1,with a few minutes to go and that was the end of Tactics Tim
.He would certainly suit our side better than Ayew.Green and him as our wide players .Sell Ross .Flabby had a good game yesterday.Did I really imagine that ? Numbers would dictate another striker but as well as Hourihane another mobile midfielder, upgrade on Grealish ,would transform the team.I could live with Hutton/Bacuna/ Richards as RB.

Saw Barrow in the flesh for the first time vs Sunderland. He was impressive but struck me as a fast, tricky player but greedy and lacking in end product, so not sure we'd gain anything.

Another Adama type? Having said that, he looked impressive for Middlesbrough yesterday.

We ate desperate for more pace.  Yesterday showed how much more effective we are with pace. If this was a genuine option i would take it on the provision another forward was going to come in at some point.

Yep if people thought Adama was a headless chicken on the pitch he's got nothing on this guy.

Surely Nathan Dyer or Routledge would be more use if we were looking at Swansea wide players?

Routledge is 32. Dyer is a good player though.

I think we should have a club policy of only signing players other teams don't want to lose, instead of hoovering up other clubs deadweights.

The new lad and the two from Barnsley fit the bill, long may it continue.

Sako - Derby on the cusp of signing him but he is more than proven in this division and looked quite good when he signed for Palace. Not sure what's happened since but he'd be better than some of the names being banded about.

Hourihane, Bree, Bedau, Barrow - if they are players the scouts have identified then great, we want players on the way up rather than the likes of McCormack who clearly wanted the salary not to improve as a player as part of a team
