To get two goalscoring midfielders into the club in a week and both captains at their current club, for a combined £4m would be very good going.

Think Bruce has still got to decide on a formation that is going to get the best out of them.  I was happy with his signing, but the more I see of Jedinak I just don't think he is the answer if we are going to play any kind of decent football. 

Still hoping to see a forward come in.

I don't think it hurts taking a punt on a player like that every now and again. It's worked for other teams and if it doesn't, we haven't lost a fortune.

OK I agree on that. We just don't take enough chances with our own kids.

I still think Jedinak can play anywhere.  His principal function is to look crazy and scare the shit out of anybody he can get close enough to kick.  Needs a couple of sachets of Andrews Liver Salts in his cheeks like a hamster.  When we are under the cosh defensively he could foam at the mouth.
