Put another way the £40 million Lerner gets if we go up is now only worth £30 million in US dollars.

Makes sense......so why didn't we keep Rudy until the last day?

Just saw that the if Bristol City win tonight the game on 28th will be cancelled so after Sat the game on deadline night might be next time we play so unless something is imminent for for Sats game we might as well take our time

Is like the why didn't Barry take the penalty thing from way back. We probably couldn't believe the money they offered and would rather have the cash for further recruitment and risk it. Which perhaps backfired but then again he wasn't exactly pulling up trees. ( yes I know Gabby as plan B is a shocker)

what the eff?!

Quote
16.01 GMT: Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has indicated that he wants to add a bit more depth to his attacking options -- and Sky Sports reports that he could be doing that by signing Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore. The Blues, it says, have made an offer for the ex-Aston Villa man.

Not that it'll happen but for a team like Chelsea they can afford a player like him sat on bench for 20/30 minute cameos where he won't have to defend...actually think it would be a great deal for Chelsea*

* or us if there is a sell on clause :-)

They'll probably do a straight swap for Bamford and leave us out the loop.

Why on earth Chelsea would want a player that's already been let go by Barca B, Villa and possibly Boro for being a show pony is as bizarre as it gets

Relax Frank.  However much Tony was worth when he bought us he is now worth 17% more in GBP thanks to Brexit.

Frank ain't going to be eased by that.

17% of nothing is …..

Is the answer to that what Carson Yeung ended up with?

I wish we had 11 show ponies as good as Adama Traore.  Oh hang on, we've got Westwood and Hutton  and Gardner and Elphick and Jedinak and Bacuna and Bunn and Richards and Agbonlahor why would we want players that shit club Chelsea want.

Traore is shit. If he can't cut it at Boro he's not going to pull any trees up at Chelsea.
