I think financial Fairplay restricts him here, he has certainly given the last manager a chance by giving him a good chunk of our parachute and sales proceeds . I see sensible January ahead rather than a splurge. Using the proceeds from sales and wage trimming. Gestede and Kozak being key I guess.

But hey, if he has the cash and can spend it go for it!

Gardner, Westwood and Jack are SOFT.

He's a grade A Nugget, according to the couple of Forest I know.They inform he has the talent to shine,nominally in a midfield 3.However,his performances seem to improve as a new contract is in sight.A touch of a wind up on the pitch..always liable for a card or two,see how he dealt with Shelvey.However,a ego and sense of entitlement to match Gabby,Richards and co.He'll be at home straight away.Rumour is he fancies Watford.

He's definitely a social sort of fella... enjoys the odd night ...However,one area we need to improve dramatically is goals from other areas of the pitch.He'll help here,a very good return from central midfield.We have had no one since Milner whom has had a return in this department.

IIRC, they basically asked him to do what Jedinak does for us, i.e. stand in front of the centre backs and break up play without doing much else. I don't know how he was with his passing there though, because it's been shocking for us.

We should be dubious about players who looked good when the played us. With the space we afford teams, that should apply to just about anyone who can control a football.

That said, a few WHam fans I know wanted Lansbury on a permanent deal when he helped to get them up a few years back.
