I think some people are missing the point. It's the words 'don't look back in anger' that make the song relevant, and it was completely spontaneous. It's a rare example of football fans joining the dots between experience and reality and actually making sense. That's to be encouraged.And as for the meaning, surely it's to do with the last five years of utter shit, and our humiliating and degrading relegation, and looking towards a better future, rather than anything to do with Steve Bruce?
