3-1 Villa

Gestede, Kodjia, Grealish

I would go 3-5-2, with Baker coming in at the back, Jedinak and Tshibola into midfield if fit, Amavi and De Laet out wide and a front 3 of Ayew, Gestede and Kodjia, bringing Jack and McCormack on when they tire.

352 with a front 3

Wouldn't that be 343? 🤔🤔🤔

Ayew would be kind of advanced midfield ;-)

Another close game that could go either way and that's what I like about this division.
Brentford like to play so it should be worth seeing and I'm looking forward to it.

Think we could do with a bit of a change to shake things up a bit.  Any news on Tshibola, Jedinak and Adomah?

I know Ayew has had a bit of criticism on here recently, but he does add that big of spark when he gets into central areas.  I would quite like to see him play behind a front two of Kodjia and either McCormack or Gestede on Wednesday and maybe have an extra body in midfield, with a Jedinak sitting just in front of the defence if fit.

Couple of changes in midfield and things will start to take shape. 2-0.

Quite incredible that many of us, including myself, aren't confident of a home win against Brentford.

Not really, Sky's "expert" also predicts an away win

We just need to win a game, I don't care if we play well.  We've been doing that.  Now we have to grind something out before this gets away from us.

With the same midfield as Sunday it's squeaky bum time - one of the proper players there and we win by 2 goals - this prediction lark is easy!

Will Gollini be fit for Wednesday? I would feel far less confident if Bunn was in goal.

Think I only know one of their players; Judge.

Otherwise they are a bit of an unknown quantity.
Judge is currently out with a broken leg.

They are an inconsistent, young team who have tightened it up defensively this season while still playing good football. They have a good striker in Scott Hogan and don't really have any obvious weak links throughout the side.

Ta Badminton.

Had a quick look at their squad and the odd name sounds familiar. In particular McEachran; ex-Chelsea tiny midfielder.

I think we are due a decent win given the amount of chances we created against Forest, so a 4-0 home win.

I think we're going to be surprised by Brentford. They're a better away side than Forest but if we put our chances away then they won't live with us. By no means confident though.
