Kodjia's greediness always irritated me, even when he was in form. Now he's not he's just a waste of space. His petulance grates too.
As far from a vote of confidence as you can get (and I agree). The English language needs a word for the opposite of a ringing endorsement, henceforth I vote we call such a ‘Kodja’

Think how frustrated he must be though. He’s certainly worthy of criticism, but two years ago he was literally smashing them in for club and country from everywhere. Injuries have done him in coupled now with a rising lack of belief. It can’t be easy to process as a professional.

Actually I thought the penny seemed to drop for Kodjia in the closing stages of the game.  Self awareness of his petulant twattishness seemed to kick in and he pulled himself together.  Whether it will be enough to save his sorry arse is debatable.

For anybody at the game today:
is he still getting into good positions? making good runs?  or is he more or less a passenger now?

I think Paul_e is right - he needs a run of games (five starts in a row at least) to give him a fair crack at it. He might yet get that between now and the end of the month but I think we'll definitely get someone in up-front before September.

I suppose at the moment Bruce has to indulge the histrionics, Grabban is gone and he's not going to swap him out for Fat Ross or Hogan.

I agree with whoever mentioned that after having spent £30m its mental we still need a striker

It's more than £30m isn't it if you add up Kodjia, Hogan and McCormack?

Kodjia is lazy, selfish and useless at holding the ball up. His attempt at jumping every time the goalkeeper or anyone passes it long to him is comical. He's been poor for months on end and needs a good kick up the arse.

I am seriously concerned that he is crocked, I look at The way he moves and it’s somehow not right.

I think a lot of the criticism is pretty harsh. He's selfish, we all know that and right now he's desperate for a goal so there's no great shock in the fact that he's being more selfish than usual. However he's getting into the box and getting shots away, whilst we've got goals coming from elsewhere we can afford to give him some time to see if he can start converting them.

For me he can play in the next 4 (including Yeovil) and we'll still have a week to look for a loanee if it's not working out.  Hogan has been given much more time and has far less credit in the bank and RHM getting 20-25 minute cameos is probably the right call for now.  By the end of the month I think we'll have  a better idea of who's available anyway, Liverpool, for example, have Origi and Solanki who are unlikely to get much game time so 1 or both might be an option.

Sorry, Brian but they will put you in for sensitivity training and reorientation. I have been sent to several of these wretched, Orwellian things, but none of the so called mentors understand dialectical materialism, and so thy are easy meat. I recommend that you study Friedrich Engels' magnificent opus The Dialectics of Nature.
Even my dog, Frabbo, a German Shepherd imported at great cost to myself from rural Kansas, USA, has a better grasp of reality than these dolts.

Nonetheless, I agree with the essence of your argument.

Thought he was a bit better second half, he has always been greedy but when there is no end result it stands out more. Regardless we need a striker brought in, as I do not think we will see Hogan till gone Christmas, how Bruce was talking the other day and Davis is probably at least a month away from a return.
