Yep loved Nigeria and Cameroon and their exploits in World Cups in the 90s.

Both have terrible national teams nowadays, infact both are in the same world cup group along with Algeria so doubt we'll see either at 2018 world cup.

Nigeria's "creative" midfielder being Jon Obi Mikel sums things up I think.

Given their attacking options though they should be doing better (or start to, given the youth of some of them). Musa, Iheanacho, Ighalo, Moses and Iwobi isn't a bad front five with Mikel sitting deeper.

Until he retired Enyeama was the best African keeper by a distance as well.

Actually you're right Nigeria have some decent youth coming through and they did alright at last world cup but I don't think they play an exciting style anymore particularly in midfield.

Cameroon are a waste of time at world cups now, a shame.

Oh ok, makes sense, I remember watching him at a world cup and I remember loving Nigeria in 94 so I've muddled the 2 together.
I was a big fan of Yekini. I still have an Olympiakos shirt with his name on the back. That iconic celebration in the net was amazing.

I think taking a genius like Okocha away from any team would make them look dull by comparison.

Was in the minority of not being wowed at the weekend but he was the best player by miles tonight.

Not just the goals but some of his runs and dribbling was excellent, one of the few who took the fight to Brentford.

Keep Gestede on the bench and play this lad through the middle!

He was excellent again.  Him and Ayew up front would be good but moving Ayew forward loses his drive from midfield and he's the only one doing that.

Shouldn't be playing out wide!

The tactical genius that is our manager shunting him wide and leaving that donkey up top.

This guy is a powerful, no nonsense centre forward. Play him there.

Looks a handful, lets play him wide to accommodate panto donkey and all the other forwards then.

That looks fishy. There's no plaice for that kind of ecumenical nonsense in todays game.

He played out wide for Bristol from time to time apparently and he did ok there last night but yeah, through the middle looks his best position.
