This game is even bigger than the Rotherham game. Win this and I think the confidence and feel good factor will come flooding back. Add a couple of new additions in time for the Derby game and we might be a force to be feared.  Villa Park needs to be loud and proud so any visiting clubs see the game as one to get out of the way. Go at them early. 2-1 home win for me. Mack and Tish with the goals.

I think this will be a draw. 1-1 and a stern test.

Wells will be their threat.

Looking at the Newcastle highlights they have a lot of pace in the final third. Van Le Parra didn't do much at Wolves but seems to be a good player for them and we all know about Wells.

Joe Lolley and Hogg aswell...Villa fans.

Be a good test for our back 4 this one I think as they'll play on the counter.

Doing a bit of reading up on them and it's no surprise they're doing well. The manager David Wagner is something of a Klopp protegee, and they seem to have a coherent plan all around the club. Very switched-on and everything. This will be a proper challenge for our own project, for sure.

Not sure why this should be a much harder game than Rotherham - Huddersfield finished 19th last season just a couple of points above Rotherham. They've had a good start but we should be able to put a stop to that on Tuesday. 3-1 Villa

We shouldn't big them up too much - they nearly went down last year though I get the impression they're better this year

Just watched the extended Rotherham highlights on AVTV. Fair to say Rotherham were pretty awful. Good fun though. Maybe that's what it's like when you're a top 4 club and just swatting aside teams every week.

This will be tougher if for no other reason than Wells. Still think we've got the weapons to beat teams like this quite comfortably though. Need to ensure we build up our confidence over the next few games

Come for the football, stay for the corrections: H&V!

As Monty was saying, they seem to be pretty organised and aware. Without meaning to be condescending, might be tougher than it first appears this one. That said, 2-1 Villa. McCormack and Ayew.
