One mistake to me seems to have been to have change the centre backs from the weekend.

Luton have had one shot, and the only centre-back who could arguably be at fault was the one that played at the weekend.

I wonder if we'll ever win a competitive game again.

When was the last one?

My grandad used to tell me story's about villa winning a game when he was a lad but I'm beginning to think he was making it up.

I see now that Baker ran out - fuck stupid

Yes he did which would have put Luton in an offside position only for Micah to be snoozing playing them on and Amavi loosing his man.

Yep let's not go overboard, we were completely dominant before they scored. Baker is shite though.

I dont get the love for Okore.  Always a mistake and no coincidence that Baker looks shaky with him.

What I'd like to know is whether we have a sports psychologist working with the players. After the calamity of last season I would say that would be essential. We crumbled so badly after they scored and it was like watching any number of games last season.

I thought Green and Ayew linked up well in the early part of that half and we got some decent crosses in which is ironic with Gestede not playing. Gardner has been woeful and although Richards started well, he reverted to type towards the end of the half. I think we're missing a commanding presence at the back which shows how much we need Elphick.

I still think we've got too much for them though although we'll try our best not to win with our backs to the wall for thd last 15 minutes.
