Is it Gardner who is the absolute fanny in the midfield for their goal who is first beaten physically to  lose the ball and then outpaced as the player strolls around the outside of him.

I am struggling to see what Gardner offers, or will ever offer.
He seems to me to be another in a long,long line of anonymous Villa midfielders.
Has no impact on the game other than jogging around a bit.
I really do wonder how all his injuries have retarded his development, he was VERY highly rated at one time but I must admit I have never really seen what all the fuss was about.
