I can't help but think I've seen this near total lack of midfield presence somewhere before.

This is every bit Bournemouth away from last season in the early stages. Let's hope it ends in a similar fashion.

Can't get hold of the ball. It's what happens when you have 3 nothing players in midfield

Westwood and Gardner seem to have no ability to get the ball and go forward. MF getting chewed up.

They're annoyingly slow and ponderous.  We better get a bloody decent midfielder in during the next 3 weeks because I can't spend another 10 months watching fucking Bacuna and Westwood and Gardener just doesn't have it.

Not great at the moment. Midfield is doing nothing.

Very anonymous so far. Bacuna especially MIA

Anyone wanting The Owls to enjoy total freedom on the wings to cross the ball must be loving this.

Westwood is a whispered recollection of a footballer.

I was more mobile than him eighteen months ago when I couldn't walk! The word recollection suggests he was once good which I beg to differ.

I don't like it when SKY tell me Fletcher has never scored in something like 13 appearances against the Villa. I reckon he will now get a hat trick.
