Barnsley is a Tuesday night. The only way we'll take 5700 is if we're winning the league or at least near the top.

Sod's Law that the easiest one to get tickets for is a midweek. A ground I've not been too, as well.

As an away scheme member even £30 and £32.50 doesn't seem too bad after years of Chelsea charging £55.

Fulham is on the Saturday at the moment so, unless the Villa game is moved, I'm planning to do both

Makes us look more than a little silly to be put up as the front of this particular campaign/whinge when we've just sold out a 4,500 allocation.

I know we've paid it, but it doesn't make it right.  There should be an ongoing protest across all 72 football league clubs until a cap is placed on away ticket prices.  Bloody hell if the money-mad Prem can do it, surely the 'lesser lights' can?

A statement from Sheffield Wednesday said pricing for their season opening game was dictated by demand and calibre of opposition, with Villa playing in the second tier for the first time since 1987-88.

"Sheffield Wednesday have in place a flexible ticketing structure that we implemented last season, whereby each fixture is categorised and priced respectively," the club said.

"This strategy worked very successfully amongst our fan base in 2015-16, borne out by a significantly increased average attendance at Hillsborough, and as such will be extended into the new season.

Yeah it was a real success. That significant increase in average attendances they claim, was 708 as they had their best season since being relegated in 2000.

So far everything is wrong with the league always. Wendy daft prices and late going on sale, Derby late kick off with only trains back to the nw as well as tickets net cost £38.  Bristol 3 weeks to game and no sign of tickets on sale. Not only is the division a lower standard in playing ability but a lesser class of clubs generally
