Bristol City are 1 up so at this point it looks like we have a Saturday off the week after next.

All over. Guess it will be a midweek job now.

Any idea when we'll know as I'm flying back for this one with a Bristol City supporting friend whenever it's on. Saturday week is my birthday so I was looking forward to some balti and beers in Brum. :(

If Bristol City lose in the 4th round and Newcastle get through the 3rd and 4th rounds then it may be Sat 18th of Feb
Only if Fulham win at home to Hull otherwise Bristol City will play them and we'll find ourselves 2 games behind

And that's fixturewang!

That Guiede Fofana that we wanted under Houllier but failed his medical has had to retire at age 25.

So "one we missed out on" for the better for a change.

Fulham also need to beat Hull as they're scheduled to play Bristol City on Feb. 18th.

BBC should be ashamed of themselves for that decision, the other 2 games they've chosen fair enough.

As apparently we were told at the time - his back could have gone at any time.

Shame for the lad. Let's hope he finds another  reasonable pay profession.

Lucas was great tonight. Would love a player with half his ability.

Defeat means Gianfranco Zola becomes the first Birmingham manager since 1889 to fail to win any of their first seven games in charge.

It's of course great what's happening over there.  The only thing that makes it even worse is us still being lower than them despite that shocking run.  Which puts into context precisely how much of a run we would need to go on to even threaten the top six.

BBC Manchesters love-in continues. They are spitting distance from Old Trafford.

Was it last year they showed the Salford City FA cup matches? Ignoring all the other lower league clubs.

I feared this would happen when they announced the sports department was moving to Salford.  I cannot believe the other 91 clubs just roll over and accept it.  They do not even have the excuse that they need the viewing figures for advertising revenue etc.

Haven't all Man United's FA Cup matches been selected for live TV coverage for the last however many years? Not always on the BBC but surely they must realise there are a lot more people that don't give a toss about Man United paying the license fee?
