Haven't all Man United's FA Cup matches been selected for live TV coverage for the last however many years? Not always on the BBC but surely they must realise there are a lot more people that don't give a toss about Man United paying the license fee?

I can see this from a ratings perspective but isn't the "magic of the cup" all about the underdog, small ground, pitch invasion, sniff of an upset etc. I watched Lincoln Ipswich but I wont want Man Utd Wigan. What's the point? Shooting fish in a barrel. Also the money the small teams make from TV rights is a much bigger amount relatviely, than for Premier League teams.

If they're going to show the club with the biggest support to maximise viewing figures , they should just say that.

It's completely hypocritical to bang on about "Magic of the Cup" while ignoring classic-looking cup ties involving less glamorous clubs in favour of Man Utd vs [insert name of tedious cannon-fodder].

Yep. Same again with the Liverpool Wolves match. Yet lowly Stourbridge who need the money don't get on TV against Whitehawk, Northampton or Wycombe.

As per my most recent H+V mag temper tantrum, the TV selections are a disgrace.

Abysmal defending.

Midfield jumps in, despite knowing the numbers behind him. Keeper is dire and goes to ground, defenders, three of them, too interested in sliding about or standing on the line than closing Knockhart, who had an appalling first touch.

If we can't catch these twats we want fucking.

1-1 Wednesday og by Dunk
It was bit of good fortune back in game on nearly half time .
There are 5 added minutes due to unfortunate injury.

What makes it worse is that Bannan is one of their better players. I don't think Brighton are that much either. Take Lockhart out of that side and they'd struggle

I liked Bannan when he was here but some of the stick he got was ridiculous. He needed a move away though I think.

Evening.
I like Barry Bannon's ability with the ball and making space runs off it, too.
Think he is having a great game [again] tonight spraying passes hither and thither.

I guess he has matured too, now. [ I was going to write " grown up " but he still looks very wee alongside some of them blokes out there, doesn't he - if he was a foot taller, I wouldn't mind taking him back. Never mind ... onwards and upwards with new giants arriving in our midfield.
