I don't think we need to worry about this result  at this stage. Our target should be to be right in the mix rather than hoping for the team in the sixth place to slip up. I agree Wednesday have been very good.

Yep. No point beating ourselves up because other teams win.

This would be a cracking result for Sheff Wed if they hold on. A draw is best for everyone below.

Boos by the Geordies at the final whistle.

The Geordies have lost a few at home. Surprised at that.

Badly missed Shelvey tonight I thought, they owned the ball but struggled to create too much. Richie had a stinker and Sheff Wed successfully kicked Gayle out of the game.

Benitez should have brought Mitrovic on much earlier.

Really need to beat Leeds I think to really get back into the playoff race, they will be flying after hammering Preston earlier today

Ironic that the best midfielder on the pitch was Barry Bannon, good game to watch thought throughout that Villa would struggle against both teams.

This was also my thoughts through the match. I wish Bannan no ill and I hope a keeps on succeeding. As for the two teams if they were playing us it would be a different game as Bruce would devise a plan to stop them playing.

Let's just go and break the bank for Forestieri

I'm certainly up for some aggressive recruitment from promotion rivals.

Brighton 3-0 now and going to top of the table. Hope that destroys Newcastle's spirit  and they lose a few more.

The only problem I have with him is that he reminds me of Peschisolido.

Watching the rags is a real conundrum.
I want to see them stuffed, but don't want Derby getting 3 points.

Maybe let the fuckers go 3 nil up and draw 3-3 with a 98th minute equaliser from an own goal.
