Re The Mersey Monday rubbish it was good to see Gareth make his 750 appearance in all comps. The commentator said he was 22 games behind Giggs' record of premier league appearances. So even if he starts the rest of the games this season he will not reach that milestone.

Hopefully he will be good for another season in the top flight.

I was fortunate enough to be in Madrid a couple of weeks ago. Went to see Real play Deoprtivo. Gil had a hand in both their goals, always looked a threat in the attacking third. Such a shame he doesn't have the physical ability to be successful here as he is very talented.
