Probably because the other sides are shit. Apart from when playing Brugge they all seem to struggle to score.

Porto are hardly a terrible side. Somebody like Legia Warsaw are shit. And even so, they're still able to stick six goals past Real and Dortmund in two matches.

Porto are proving to be shit, they've scored 1 goal against teams not from Brugge. Copenhagen are also shit and have scored 1 goal against teams not from Brugge. What Warsaw or anyone else are doing in other groups is a total irrelevance to how weak the Leicester group is.

It's not really. They're a football team, playing football matches and are therefore a perfectly valid comparison against other football teams playing football matches.

The Champions League has had dozens of (comparatively) terrible teams in it, Leicester's group isn't some sort of unique statistical anomaly.

Spurs out. Shame.

Any club that uses Wembley for "home" games deserves nothing less.  Presumably they won't be subjecting their fans to the North Circular for Thursday night Europa League home legs?

Incidentally, if we're just reducing it to cherry-picked "they only did this, not counting the things they did against them", shit-Porto have twice as many points as Spurs.

So in this game of reductio ad absurdum, unbeaten in the Premier League Spurs must be shit as they only have half as many points as shit-Porto.

Well only if we make some bizarre leap that only you seem to make.

Not really. You're saying that eight-points Porto are shit, so four-point Spurs must be REALLY shit.

Alternatively, Spurs might not be shit and the bubble of a few Champions League matches might not be enough to draw such sweeping conclusions and we could say that Leicester winning their group with a match to spare is just a fairly commendable achievement.

No it's you using that bizarre logic. I said the exact opposite.

What Warsaw or anyone else are doing in other groups is a total irrelevance to how weak the Leicester group is.

Leicester have made the CL group stage look a piece of piss. It's just so crazy the 18 months that they have had.

Its the easiest group in the history of the non-champions league

Leicester are the champions of course, hence them being a top seed and getting a better draw.

Like I did you mean?

Still impressive what they've done but it was a piss easy group.

And as I said it's not irrelevant. If Man City, Real Madrid or Spurs smashed through their group unbeaten and barely conceding a goal, that would also be worthy of praise, rather than a dismissive whinge about how they didn't have to play anybody worth bothering with. As it is, they don't actually do that even when faced with teams seemingly much worse than them.

It's not really bizarre logic to suggest that Leicester aren't the only side who have to play weaker teams than them.
