we could say that Leicester winning their group with a match to spare is just a fairly commendable achievement.
Like I did you mean?
Still impressive what they've done but it was a piss easy group.
Just as you've quoted, I'd personally describe it as JUST a fairly commendable achievement.
Rather than "something they've done that was actually really easy"
What a game I just watched!! I'm in Montreal and watched Toronto play here in the MLS Eastern Confernence Final 1st leg. Firstly the game was delayed by around 40 min because quite astonishingly the penalty areas were too small. They weren't wide enough. How the hell does that happen at a major event? So the grounds crew sprayed painted over the lines in green paint and they had to redo the lines to the correct dimension.
Then horrendous start for Toronto, 2-0 down after 12 minutes and played like shit all the way to the break. Then to make matters worse the HT team talk was wasted as just 5 min after the restart it was 3-0. We all thought it was over, but amazingly footy's favourite player Jozy Altidore made it 3-1 and then former Villa legend Michael Bradley made it 3-2. We had enough chances to equalize as it was mostly one way traffic after that. But all to play for now next Wednesday. 2 crucial away goals might go a long way. Tranmere all over again. And just over 61k to watch it at the Big O in Montreal. Great atmosphere!
All that's happened is that the other Premier League teams have sussed out Leicester's limited, if still impressive for a season, tactics of lumping it up towards the big fast men up front, a tactic most thought had gone from the game along with out and out wingers. Porto and Brugge (and whoever else, can't be arsed to look) hadn't.
All the PL teams do now is mark the two men Leicester keep up front all the time out of the game nullifying the fast breakaways, hence why Vardy is hardly getting a sniff in the league this season.
Rostov beat Bayern 3 - 2
Ancelotti under pressure now
I was going to go...my local team (seen them a couple of times) Besiktas were 3-0 down at half-time v Benfica and looking out of the CL. Just equalised in the 89th minute. 3-3.
How crap was city defending there A German Team 1-0 in lead
Rostov beat Bayern 3 - 2
Ancelotti under pressure now
Good that Bayern lost bad that Ancelotti is under pressure.

I agree on your points as key factors, but I think the single biggest thing is them losing Kante and the bloody speed and efficiency of his pressing.
Which they could have replaced with Gana or Gueye from us quite cheaply.

Saw the highlights on Sky. Have a soft spot for TO as it's my favourite city and follow the Jays and Toronto. Hoping for an easier game and win in 2nd leg!
Paul Lamberts Wolves 0-2 down at half time, all those hours spent talking about us could have been spent doing something uselful such as brushing up on his management skills.
I'm sure he'll have tales of his torment at Villa as part of his post match excuse
