He's playing really well so far.

Agree. That last burst of pace and cross was impressive.

He's been a bit of a headless chicken at times.

Villa Park holds about 38k even with the Upper Trinity closed.

We'll get that against SHA I'm sure and maybe even Brighton last day....

He always is.  Some times his decision making is shocking however he usually has a turn of pace or trick to get out of it.  I can see him getting a move to a bigger club for a stupid fee, and then it unravelling somewhat.  I don't think you could get away with it at a 'Liverpool' level club.

To be fair if you have that pace and skill being a bit of a headless chicken here and there is probably to be expected, at most levels of football he'll have left people for dead consistently, learning how and when to use his ability and when to keep it simple is the fundamental gap between average and world class for players like him.  If he can learn that then he'll be a fantastic player and we'll regret not giving him a real chance.  I think he was another player who was kept out of the team because of the 'basics' that he didn't do rather than put into it because of magic he could.  I think Grealish gets unfairly judged on the same basis.

Whatever Adama can do with the ball at his feet, (not alot of end result) his positional sense when he has not got the ball is awful, I paid attention to him for all that game and Boro at times on their right was wide open due to him not tracking back, not tackling and most the time without the ball not being interested, when he was moved inside again he did not seem to know where to play. Adama I believe is a player who can pull a rabbit out of the hat going forward, but does not and will never understand what a team player means.

12 successful dribbles (for reference, Messi averages somewhere around the region of 4-5 a game), yet not a single cross completed. Sums up where he is at this stage, really.

I think like all our other forward-thinking players, on the few occasions he got a look in, he was diminished by the lack of a centre forward who could properly lead the line.

Pulis must be furious as they have scored 2 unnecessary goals however he has Lowton up against his world class forwards so he can forgive them today.

Leicester have made the CL group stage look a piece of piss. It's just so crazy the 18 months that they have had.

I reckon most PL sides would get out of the group they are in. Still impressive what they've done but it was a piss easy group.

They probably would, but I reckon bigger and better sides would still have made harder work of it than they have.

No goals conceded in their first four and a half matches* is probably something that not many sides can match in the last fifty years or so of the competition.

*assuming that's still a thing and I didn't blank out their 4-0 defeat in their last game or something

Probably because the other sides are shit. Apart from when playing Brugge they all seem to struggle to score.

Its the easiest group in the history of the non-champions league
