Just watched a clip of the trouble in the ground, what made me laugh even the steward pulled up his hoodie to protect his identity!

I have seen more pushing and shoving at my local when they call last orders.

They must be mad, there are going to be a fair few banning orders judging by the images that the club must have.

There certainly seems to be an element of "looking the other way" from the Football authorities as far as trouble at this ground is concerned.

I don't know why, surely this is a shining example of the way Football will go in the future? Let the proletariat pay, fight, fear and worry while the rich sit back and count the money.

As ever was Nev, as ever was.

Aye, complete with big lumps blatantly throwing spears & hammers on the pitch. At one point, I even saw herberts charging down the side of the grass holding sodding-great poles out in front of 'em! Could nobody think of the poor kiddies? It were an OUTRAGE.  >:(

Don't forget who's in control of the club.  They'll talk the talk about banning orders and the like but at the end of the day they put money into the club and that's all Brady and co are interested in.

I think there are few things in life quite as sad and pathetic as a middle aged football hooligan giving it the "come and have a go" hand gestures.

A middle-aged football 'fan' telling me 'it's only a game' whilst I was holding up my Lerner Out banner duing the 6-0 demolition by Liverpool has to go close.

Did you see all the Villa pavement dancers away at Barnsley after they scored. Like a co-ordinated ballet dancing group very very funny.

There were a couple I saw at Preston, truly dismal individuals.

A Sunderland supporting mate went to the Taxpayer's Stadium on Saturday, he said it was the most soulless, depressing stadium he'd ever watched a football match in (and he follows Sunderland!) and won't set foot in the place ever again.

They've already handed out 23 bans for trouble at previous games.

Just as well he won't need to for a few years then.

If they get their next appointment wrong (like we did around this time last year when Sherwood went), it could be very 'interesting' to see if they can do worse than our 17-pointer last season.

To be fair to my mate he's argued quite strongly the last few seasons that Sunderland were far worse than Villa.
