• There is lot of talk  that Rooney at his age can not do the midfield role he is assigned to do. The role was described as passing sideways and backwards generally slowing the game down  every time England had a chance to attack. So I suggest in Ash Westwood we have a younger ready made replacement.

• They played in some real heat against Saudi, then back to Melbourne for a real arm wrestle against Japan. Now back to B6. He'll be knackered.
