I know it was Gibraltar but Benteke is getting back to looking like his old self. And that comes from playing games on a regular basis for a club team that sets up to provide him the service he needs.

There is lot of talk  that Rooney at his age can not do the midfield role he is assigned to do. The role was described as passing sideways and backwards generally slowing the game down  every time England had a chance to attack. So I suggest in Ash Westwood we have a younger ready made replacement.

Jedinak has just scored a penalty against Japan.

Worried about what sort of state he'll be in the weekend... he doesn't exactly seem match fit when he hasn't been playing on the other side of the World.

They played in some real heat against Saudi, then back to Melbourne for a real arm wrestle against Japan. Now back to B6. He'll be knackered.

He's got to go to Thailand next month.
