Well in likelihood, he'll come back in and do a decent job and be sold in the summer, probably to Hull. The good thing is he'll be coming back to a very different and positive environment.

Why? Surely he's not eligible for recall until the window opens so even if we had recalled him after Leeds he couldn't have played for us until January.

More than sensible decision that doesn’t make up for madness to send him out in the first place, without a replacement in situ.

Welcome home Tommy.

The folly of bruce is being undone by Smith not by words but by actions. First Kalinic now an Elphick return. It will be interesting to see what else Smith does to counter bruce's bizarre legacy.

Somehow I don’t think Elphick playing or not would have made a difference. I think Leeds will win either way

Good to have him back, still beggars belief he was allowed to go.

Elphick is absolute shite. I'd rather play a youth player.

He's not the greatest I'd admit, but he's not to the shite levels of Jedinak

Elphick is fine. Did well at Hull on the opening day.

Neither should be anywhere near the team. We should have had a centre-half ready to sign on January 1st.

If Elphick is the answer while Tuanzebe is out then we may as well give up on promotion for this season.
