I see the green side of Glasgow are installing standing areas. Does our new Championship status have any affect over our intended return to a standing terrace?

I remember that there was a Commons debate on safe standing at English grounds brought on I believe because of our talks with the Premier League about this time last year what came out of it we never heard.
I'm convinced that the German model could work over here, but I reckon we'll have to wait until the dust has settled over Hillsborough and any subsequent criminal proceedings before it will be seriously considered by the FA and MP's.
This is worth reading if you haven't done so already. http://www.fsf.org.uk/campaigns/safe-standing/the-legalities-of-standing/

Which, being as I watch from towards the back of the lower North Stand, is probably the amount of time since I last sat at a game.

Do the lower 2 leagues still have standing areas? And if we were to drop again could we bring back standing?

I think we should just keep dropping divisions until we are allowed to stand.

It makes no difference how far relegated we go. Once you have converted to seating you have to stay seated under current rules.

Tom Fox wasn't as interested in standing as Paul Faulkener had been. Paul Faulkener was building up some momentum with The Premier League, which was lost a bit when Fox took over & now we're not in The Premier League so I think we're back to square one.

There's some momentum for it nationally, but everyone accepts we need a respectful length of time after the Hilsborough verdicts  before it is pushed further.
