Credit to Rudi and Bunn for coming over to the away fans, and giving their shirts to a couple of kids. The rest can eff right off.

Rudi may be a limited footballer (to say tue least) but he appears to be an all round good egg and I hope he fills his boots for us next year like he did for Blackburn.

Got be the hope. Too many variables at the minute

I'm looking forward to the final few tweets from Lescott driving away in his flash Benz or whatever he has, Bacuna lying on the beach, Grealish lying on a street, Gabby lying in a kebab grease, Richards just being a wanker.

So three league wins all season. Utterly pathetic.

Yep. And the last 1/3 of the season yielded one point.

Abysmal on the pitch. Unreal support off it. As predicted. Bring on the Championship, we're going to have some brilliant away days next season.

Another gutless, spineless and totally clueless showing against Arsenal .Have lost count of how many they have scored against us in the last half a dozen matches without us replying .At least we wont have to suffer next season unless we draw them in one of the cups

Goals galore!

Goal 1 - Cross comes in, uncontested, no effort from the Villa player out wide to close him down or stop the cross, unmarked on the penalty spot, Lescott holding his arms out a few yards away
Goal 2 - Sanchez is just comically shit.
Goal 3 - Not a single defender within yards of him again, ball watching and ambling around back line, appalling. Player who plays the through ball is unchallenged and no one is within 5 yards of him.
Goal 4 - Midfield non existant as Arsenal player waltzs to the edge of the box, ball is pulled back, no midfielder picking up the attacker waiting, cue comedy ping pong

The team couldn't give a flying fuck about the results. There was no effort to defend against any of those goals. They all should go in the summer, every single one of them.

If you want a microcosm of why we aren't coming back anytime soon particularly under the present structure then you need only look at the toon win today. They look as if they went down with fight and some momentum for next season.  We have absolutely zero momentum and this is made all the worse by the fact that we have had a months head start on the rest to get things moving for next season.  I just pray there is a manager in charge in the background already working on what is needed but I seriously doubt it.

This supposed sale needs to happen asap and if it doesn't we are fucked with Moron in charge.

It I'll be interesting to see how.many of their players they can keep or would want to keep given the contract situation there.

I think Newcastle will try to keep hold of everyone they think worthwhile and only start culling if they don't make it back first attempt.

A great post and I absolutely agree.
The 'holding pattern' the club has decided to take has been for far too long and whilst their are mitigating circumstances (the supposed takeover) you have to worry whether it's has caused damage that will take far more than a summer to START to put right.
The last 7 weeks or whatever it is that Black has been in charge have been a complete and utter waste of time and worse than, they have been a wasted opportunity.

Well we hired a board 5 months ago who have pretty much achieved the square root of fuck all in reality so far.

Feel utterly relieved that this horror season is over. Optimistic about a takeover in the next couple of weeks, new manager and new direction for next season.
Honestly wouldn't be bothered if none of this squad play for us again.
Don't think it's a simple as getting just new players, we need to get rid of this losing/negative culture.

Ones I do want out asap as priority -  Guzan, Micah, Gabby and Lescott
