It's a global game and playing abroad offers much so if not China or Asia tour then European destination. In part

This summer is going to be very busy with players coming and going.  This will mean integrating quite a few players into the squad.  The last thing we need is to be jetting off to the Far East for a couple of weeks.

They are going to need as much time at BH as possible so need to stay in UK for friendlies.

Yep pretty much, in recent times we've welcomed Inter Milan and Valencia week before start of season...now it's Boro.

At least we have some sort of schedule now so the wheels are slowly starting to creak into action.

The thing I don't understand is why we're sending a full-strength team to play Worcester.

I doubt it will be a proper first team as we play Telford and Worcester on the same day. So split squads I assume.

Haha, only Villa would get relegated and play one of the 3 teams that replace them in preseason - boot reapplied!!!  any game v Boro could have been played at Bodymoor :-)

Stourport is v small as well from memory - shame it's not at Worcesters new home as Bromsgrove could house a couple of thousand
