With regards to the original question, no.

At some point, hopefully soon, we'll rise again on the back of sound ownership and the ignominy of the last few years will fade.

Be owned by that lot and the stain would be on the character of the club for ever.

I wouldn't swap places with West Ham, but there was a nice film about them on the guardian website a few days back, bill Gardner reminiscing about the time west ham were in Europe and he necked 6 paracetamols and then set about smashing his hand with a lump hammer- told his boss he fell down the stairs at work and got 27 weeks full paid sick leave. Nuns from a church by the ground singing bubbles.

They're not the best west ham, but they're by no means the worst.

The golds Brady and Sullivan leave a nasty taste though and would be the main reason I wouldn't want to swap places. Fucking shysters who would have bought the club with the aim of getting their tax payer funded new stadium. ****** of the highest order

Actually, no.

Would you swap our relegated state if it meant leaving Villa Park forever to move to a new build ground with a running track?
Not a chance

A purely hypothetical question, but if Villa were to leave VP for a new stadium, where would be a good place for it to be situated, assuming it moved from B6?

That is a tough one. The "obvious" answer would be somewhere around the NEC.

The "flippant" answer is Tipton, ideally within very easy walking distance of my front door.

In an ideal world I would stay put but give Villa Park a spruce up. The Holte End is great and we are all spiritually attached to the place but I do think it is getting a bit left behind.

The only thing currently shit about Villa is the team.

Let's not forget that.

Wouldn't leave Villa Park in a million years! As previously mentioned, knock down the North Stand & build a copy of the Holte End,do up the Witton Lane & we're good for another few years!

(Oh & build about another 10 pubs round the ground!)

Never in a billion years. And then in a Billion years I'd say never in another Billion years.

Wonder how many of those 52000 season tickets have been purchased by ticket brokers - at £240 a throw they'd only need to hawk them out to tourists 4 or 5 times a year to be in profit.

Gold & Sullivan given the Olympic legacy is still beyond belief to me

If we were to move from Villa Park I'd only be happy if we were to move to the sight of Aston Park or Wellington Road.

I always thought Slaven Bilic would do well in the premier league - but let's see how he does next year. We've seen one season wonders before.
