I can't understand our fans slagging Southgate for complaining about our lack of ambition and then joining Boro.

In his time there he won a trophy and played in Europe, neither of which he'd have done had he stayed.

You could say he was proved right.

Penalty for me, not even worth discussing for the commentators.

Isn't Hutton set to equal the longest run of games for a player without a premier league win today ? Another oxygen thief

However bad a footballer Hutton is, his commitment cannot be questioned.  The only player all season to show any kind of fight.  For that he will always have my respect.

See I don't understand this, he's been terrible for most of the season, responsible for a whole load of goals we've conceded and guilty of wasting pretty much every opportunity he's had to get the ball into the box at the oth3er end but because he runs a lot and kicks people here and there he gets respect, sod that he's righnt up there with Guzan, Gestede and Gabby for our worst player of the season for me.

Totally agree.  I'm sorry, but "putting a shift in" is surely a minimum expectation.  He often has to put a shift in because he's chasing back after being caught out of position or because one of his awful crosses has been cleared.  Not good enough to be in the squad four years ago, but somehow is still in the starting line up.

Easy to understand really, terrible footballer, little skill, no finesse, bombed out and never complained.  The thing that sets him apart from the rest of the wastrels is the fact that he actually tries  I don't see that from anyone else with the exception of Ayew and I would guess he's playing his ticket.

Especially so considering the treatment he got from the footballing genius that was Paul Lamberk & Co.

How is that shoulder in the back not a foul when the one that Rooney 'won' that led to their goal was given?

The clue is in the question

Huttons shit but there's no crime in being shit. It's players who play consistently below their best that piss me off.

There are those players that should be doing better based on what they have done before and those that flatter to deceive.  Hutton falls into the latter category along with Guzan and Westwood.

I know, that's why i made sure i put his name in.

More importantly, how the fuck, in a game that is technically a must win, are Richardson and Sinclair still on the pitch, I hate this unwillingness to do anything to change the game.

Ah, 1 of the jokers is off at least.
