The only possible explanation I can come up with for Richardson's inclusion today is that if he doesn't make 40 appearances for the club we have to give him a new contract. But why wait 82 minutes before dragging him off?

Yeah, Villa are American owned, so it's a lap of honor

....but as Mr Shin said, it's not called that anyway.

Anyhow, whatever it's called, I can't see there bring one this year.

more like a Walk of Shame

Can't be that either, a walk of shame normally means you've scored.

Eric Black

What a pathetic, PATHETIC, team selection that was.

You've had all week to work on a formation to put out for this afternoon's game and you come up with that?

The word is 'honour' regardless of who owns us.

Eric Black on Final Score......'Come Monday we dust our selves down and go again.'
I thought that line was copyrighted by Lambert.

Not replacing Richardson till the last few minutes was typical Lambert

It's called a lap of appreciation.  Gabby is giving out free shisha to 100 lucky supporters.
I can envision about 10000 giving him back rotten fruit to show their appreciation.

It's not about the side that came back up. It's the side that went down and if you lived through it there are lots of similarities with this one. There's going to be massive change in the summer.

I sincerely hope your right but I fear for the worst. Our only decent players will be gone, I think we will have a journeyman manager (Moyes isn't coming), there won't be much money to spend (orders from Lerner will be to limit outlay - he's already lost a fortune), and our worst players are all on long term contracts that we are stuck with for 2-3 years. If Lerner sells up for a bargain, perhaps the turn round may start but new board or not, some of these problems are going to take a number of years to unwind.

We had it coming.

Will there be a lap of "HONOUR" at the end of the season?

The "traditional" lap of appreciation will be replaced by a lap of depreciation - when rotting fruit will be provided.

Could not believe Richardson and Bacuna were starting today. The crowd were stunned and it immediately created a negative atmosphere. Well done Black - fucking idiot!

Good. We had a decent keeper before he came

I honestly thought I'd misheard the team on the radio on the way to the ground.

I can't believe Black went negative in a game where he had nothing to lose.

I know Traore is a bit hit and miss
But Richardson is miss and miss!!

You can imagine the conversation on Friday, we've got this midfield role between Grealish, Traore, Green, Vertout, Gil or Richardson.Who do you think the fans will want to see and offer us the most,  Richardson it is then!

My biggest disappointment today was that Richards didn't come on, was looking forward to that Hodge like piece of shit getting the abuse he deserves, the team selected today was laughable, KIERON RICHARDSON!

It's the first time ever that I haven't cheered or clapped a Villa goal. Highlight for me was the support, for Aston Villa, not the disgraceful team. At one stage I asked to look at my son's programme to see who it was who was controlling the midfield and dancing round our midfield. Dan Gosling. Fucking DAN GOSLIN.

Stayed to the end to show my displeasure and it was nice to see the Bournemouth players returning the applause from some of the Villa support. This team are without doubt worse than the '87 team. I've had no idea who Eric Black was until recently, he can fuck off as well.
