I said I'd take 4-0 in the pre match thread so on that basis not too humiliating.

I think we'll end up With the record amount of goals conceded in the prem.

I am no mathematician, but since the 7-1 drubbing at Chelsea in MON's last season, we have been on the receiving end of some absolute thrashings. The alarming thing has been the regularity with which they have occurred. We must be averaging about three 5  or 6 nil thrashings a season since 2010 (not to mention the 8-1 away at Chelsea), and that's a really conservative estimate.

To cut to the chase, have we ever had such a poor defensive record, over a sustained period, before in our history? Genuine question.

I honestly don't know who could manage our 'professional 'players and get decent results. Many players we have had in the past have looked like they would die for the cause but none of the ones we have now give me that impression.

They get paid. They are not Professional.

I'd like our 3 club captains to be subject to 2 minutes in a ring with Carl Frampton in a make of break situation. Try or fucking die. They can put their car or gold studs on the line.

On top of those 3 we have Guzan, Clark, Bacuna, Westwood who all need to be binned. Hutton too. Oh and Sinclair. Richardson will be.

Lol, its late, I've had beer! I forgot and other such excuses... :-[ :-[

On the plus side, I smashed the bejeezus out of my poundland radio that kept zoning out of the match and every time I got a signal we seem to have shipped another goal. In hindsight, it was the radios way of a) warning me against listening to that shite and b) a good way to avoid the cretins on WM.
Seriously pissed off but numb to it all. However, I feel we will survive the championship, I really do if Garde is backed and we get rid of the cardboard cutouts masquerading as villa players. I would keep Gestede the Ent and get players who can cross or better still, get in the oppositions half. I doubt we will get more than 20 points this season though. Shocking and shameful

Or an overestimate as the average is once a season.

10/11: 1, 6-0.
11/12: 0.
12/13: 2. 5-0, 8-0
13/14: 0.
14/15: 2. 5-0, 6-1
15/16: 1. 6-0

Decided to watch MOTD as i'd only listened to the commentary on the radio. They showed a clip of Gabby that summed up all that is wrong with too many players at the club. Lazy fucker just stood there and made no attempt to close down players on the ball. That's nothing to do with tactics, coaching etc, it's just being a lazy fucker that can't be arsed to move your fat arse.

I think that's one record we'll miss out on, well unless those bunch of muppets really go all out.  Swindon have the record - 100 goals in 42 games, Derby 89 in 38 games.

Can I swap Frampton out for David Haye please. At least he would have the power to knock the 3 of em into next fucking week.

Despite not conceding in the first half, we still played poorly. The players really don't care, no professional pride at all.

Went to bed at half time, scoreless, but I could see what what was in the post for the second half. Very angry at that point. However, I woke up with an attitude change. It's now reality. We're fucked, it's happened, and it's here. The anxiety and dread has gone, to be replaced by a numb acceptance, and an idle curiosity of just how pathetic and embarrassing it could get. There's nothing to salvage from this uberklusterfik of a season, so I hope the lads continue to go about their pursuit of crapness records in a truly professional manner. Another 8-0, or more, thrashing perhaps? Three sent off in one game? A new record for consecutive 5-0 defeats? If we're gonna hit rock bottom, let's do it in a geologically subterranean quality way.
Come on guys, you know you can do it.
You're starting to give me belly-laughs.

One more game away without a win and we equal another club record. 15 away games without Victory. Very soon we shall run out of records.

Worst team in our history.

I had the pleasure of watching today's game in San Diego at The Bluefoot Bar & Grille with the San Diego Lions Club.
In our bar was the Villa game, in the other bar was the Wet Spam game, they managed to do 3 goals against Everton and sounded like a great game, we didn't manage a shot on target and have let 14 in for 1 in return in or last 4 games.

Please make it stop.

Once they scored the first, I turned to the Mrs and said within 5 minutes it will be two" my god they even proved that wrong it was within 2 minutes.
Remi if you ever let that lazy, no good arsehole that sums up AVFC this year, by someone within the organisation who has allowed him to have the honor of wearing the captains arm band, Richards, backed up on the same pitch by that fat overweight useless piece of shit Flabby that still remains as club captain, if you allow them to play please do not come out with crap that they are not trying enough, they are not listening to me in training, etc, etc, because you are the person who names 11 players to go on the pitch and represent Aston Villa, no one else but you, you also allow them to remain in the honored position of being captain and club captain of Aston Villa, this sums you and them up perfectly, you could not give a fuck.

It's hard to believe that if the incompetent management had invested in two or three decent players in January we may have got away with it because all of our nearest rivals are going just as bad. We do not have one genuine leader at the club all we have are weak pricks who surrender after the first shot is fired.
I normally wouldn't dream of playing youngsters in a situation like this but Garde has to make a stand and let the non triers stay away completely, at the very least if the kids put the effort in the crowd will get behind them.
