I may have to consider going to watch Wasps at the Ricoh.

that's what I've been doing you won't regret it they are competing up the top of the table, and destroyed Harlequins last sunday Wasps were joint 3rd with before they played.

There, there now.
Just  close your eyes now, Aston Villa.
It'll soon be over.

In sporting terms, 2015-16 has been a total annus horribilis for me. Apart from the Villa, Worcester Warriors are almost certain to sink back into the division below and Worcestershire CCC got relegated. Even the local basketball team blew their league despite being one of the best in the county.

That's why I don't watch my school's football team.

How the hell have we arrived at a situation where Bournemouth- Bournemouth!- have twice as many points as we do? Watford have got 21 points more than us and have a game in hand. Jesus wept.

When the owner abandons the club, everybody else thinks it's ok to do the same.

Never mind, though, he wants to sell. It's just that nobody's buying football clubs any more. And the club knows we're pissed off, so we don't need to tell them. Etc.

So the most played top flight fixture takes a break at 202.  When will it resume?

Was it 2008/09 when we had those two brilliant games against Everton? 3-2 at their place and 3-3 at VP? God, even Luke Young scoring the winner in a total backs to the wall job in 2010 was manna from heaven compared to now. It seems these games are a good barometer of our fortunes, but even at their shittest in the Premier League, Everton didn't drop. Horrible times.

On the way home. At least we had a good sing in L2. Fox and Lerner got stick, it may not achieve anything but at least it's a way to vent.

we honestly dont look as if we will get another point

Gestede did well when he came in, might aswell play hoofball until the pain is over

Garde has the appearance of a man waiting for a payoff

totally agree

honourable man my fucking arse, he is fucking clueless

Yep, he's hopeless.  Sat there like a teenage girl who's had her mobile phone taken off her.
I told our teenage girl that if she ever smoked within five feet of our veranda again, EVEN if it is raining / windy/ a bit nippy out, I would stop her weekly allowance bash her phone to death with a mallet AND drop the nut on her boyfriend for giving her a lovebite (at the age of fucking 19 FFS!).

Does she listen? Oh no!

It has to be the worst ( couldn't give a shit) defence that I have ever seen pull the famous shirt on. Piss taking bastards who if they looked in the mirror would see they are poor excuses for footballers.

Well we're heading for oblivion. We've deserved to go down for the last five years and now it's as near as confirmed. Worst season to be relegated in terms of the financial windfall coming.

We'll be relegated from the Championship of we're not careful.
The whole club from top to bottom needs ripping up and starting again.
The owner is an absolute fool who just doesn't know how to run a successful sporting business. Bad decision after bad decision of poor managers culminating in Garde, who to be honest hasn't a clue either
We may as well have stuck with McLeish.

The player recruitment policy is an absolute joke. Paddy Reilly? How does he justify his salary? We won't get a decent fee for any of these players and the majority need replacing.
Thankfully I can't see any of them forging a decent career elsewhere. Aston Villa will have been there peak.

Not sure why I'm writing all this. We all know the score. Doom and gloom and the sooner relegation is officially confirmed the better.

Aston Villa. Once a big club. Sadly no longer.

I don't know who has been responsible for the defensive side of things at Villa for the past few years, but how is it possible for at least three consecutive combinations of defensive options to be lacking in such basic skills? It's not just Richards and Lescott, it's Dunne, Collins, Baker, Clark, Warnock and the rest of them. Utter drivel, the lot of them.
