It's not Blues anymore it's white Blues.

Didn't even react to our goal. Made as much difference as a defensive throw-in in the 19th minute. Garde has made no difference, has he?

I don't think I've ever hated footballers, let alone Aston Villa footballers, as much as I hate Micah Richards and Joleon Lescott.

What about Gabby?
Clark does he give a fuck?
Westwood/Guzan/Bacuna?

we honestly dont look as if we will get another point

Gestede did well when he came in, might aswell play hoofball until the pain is over

Garde has the appearance of a man waiting for a payoff

A boot stamping on a human face forever.

Oi, that's my line.

Lots of love,

E.A. Blair.

Little did we know he was talking about Aston villa's 2015/16 season and associated dystopian fall into the abyss.

These players seem to loathe pulling on the shirt. That in itself is more hurtful than the crap football. At this moment in history, they get the chance to belong to the same football club as Waring, Aitken, McGrath, Athersmith...and this is what they do with it.

I live down in London - so didn't go. Watched the second half. I recognised the stadium, I even recognised some of the fans who the camera era panned to. But I did not recognise the team as the Aston Villa I know.

Going to the stadium, seeing it on TV or even passing it on stage used to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end and give me a buzz of excitement, anticipation and hope. I have so many happy memories of Villa Park.

But watching that game felt like I couldn't quite recognise what the club has become.

I feel like crying!

Thanks Mr Lerner.

If you have players who think it's fun to fuck the club over (even just a few) and no chance to make any changes then I think anyone would struggle.  It's almost impossible to make up for even one player not trying at this level.  I want him to stay but he'll need to be allowed to ditch the bad apples even it means having bomb squad mk II.

Aston Villa makes 1984 look like Janet and John.

For the first time in 31 years I didn't watch the match or even attempt to follow it apart from a couple of texts telling me we were losing, Still don't know who scored our goal, the whole situation has grinded down my enthusisam of something I used to look forward too all week, Apathy has well and truly set in.

How the hell have we arrived at a situation where Bournemouth- Bournemouth!- have twice as many points as we do? Watford have got 21 points more than us and have a game in hand. Jesus wept.

Yep, he's hopeless.  Sat there like a teenage girl who's had her mobile phone taken off her.
