Double your money on Everton City to beat us double this week ...might as well make some money from the misery

You can get 50-1 on an Everton (-2)/Man City (-4) bet. Stuck a tenner on.

Sorry to be a div but does that mean by 2 and 4 goals in a double?

They keep calling us scruffy which is kinda weird. I've never looked at a group of Everton fans and thought "Well there goes the next cover shot for GQ". In theory I have no problem with Everton but their fans are almost as unloveable as their self-glorifying, self-entitled neighbours.

I think we will win 2-0 and this is why. We buried my cousin Les Robinson today 67. He was born and bred on the Beeches estate played in Villa's under 13 squad and was as all our family a Villa tragic. He was buried in Mornington cemetery in Melbourne Victoria, as his coffin was lowered it was covered with the Aston Villa flag and his Aston Villa scarf. I believe he would have already had a word so I am hopeful things will change for the better. Up the Villa.

They had a free weekend so will be rested up nicely. This might go horribly wrong. 0-3.

For some unknown reason the relationship with Everton went sour under MoN (we kept beating them?) - formerly we seemed to have mutual respect and regard for history with a recognition that we were similar clubs - now a section of their following seem to regard us as the Devil's Spawn. Personally I couldn't care less about them these days.

Perhaps it began with David Unsworth and our undisguised contempt for him contracted to us but refusing to play for us and returning back to Binlandia after one warm up game at Wycombe.

I read all 8 pages of their comments. Theres some hateful stuff in there. Apparently under O'Neill we dared to think we were in "their stratosphere" and the OP said we dared to think of Everton as our peers! To think this is the same Everton that was battling the drop EVERY season in the early to late 90s when we were winning 2 league cups and finishing in the top six most seasons. Funny.

I had us down for a win anyway but your post about your cousin has rubber stamped the 3 points
Up the Villa Robbo

It was all a bit Tim Lovejoy #megabantz, trying too hard to be 'edgy'.

I'll bet the author is from North Wales.

What happened to Tim Lovejoy after he left that Saturday morning Sky show?

He's completely disappeared off my radar, just like Colin Murray after he left Fighting Talk
