Is there anything that can be said that hasn't been said a thousand times already? Let's get this whole effing debacle over and hope this season is finally the nadir. FFS Lerner can't you please just give us away? Surely even a clueless waste of oxygen like you hasn't squandered all of your daddy's money?

He couldn't even do that without royally bolloxing it up!

At half time I was trying to work out how few games we've won at home to Man. United, Liverpool and Arsenal in the last 20 years.

I got to 2 games in 51 games but only started from 99 so it's much worse.

Ridiculous when you think we've won a fair few at Emirates and Anfield in that period.

I like the fact that Gil clearly has quality but he's not got the quality you need to succeed with his lack of physicality

Poor Gil. Where's his best position?

He was world class in the reserves at the end of last season.

Look at that second goal, Okore's doing a fucking Gladstone Small impression.

Someone who's on Twitter should remind him that to get a new contract as centre back, marking players and heading the ball away at times will be required.

Done just for you!
Work is very slow today.

I'm sat in a pub in the NW watching this so am the only one not supporting Liverpool it seems.

This could go in the "little things that make life oh so fcking annoying" thread but a woman on the table behind me, who quite clearly has no interest in football other than trying to convince the bloke she's with that she's interested in football, keeps saying annoying shit like "Coutinho for me-o", "Bacuna Matata" and when half time arrived "come on! Barmy army!" She also only cheers for the goals about a minute after they go in because she isn't actually watching and/or doesn't know who's scored until her boyfriend says something like "good goal" after the replays are done. I'm getting tempted to chuck my pint over her.

Conversely the guy at the bar who just keeps saying "thank fuck these lot are going down" just keeps getting accepting nods from me.

We're just dire.

It's a good job you're not heavily armed (assuming that you're not).

I think the sheer lack of movement in the team makes him look worse. He has so few options

He's got quality, but in a completely harmless manner.

Just to advise that by the end of February Bacuna is likely to pick up more than I do in a year.
Lucky you. I'm sure he did that by mid Jan for me.  What a horrible bunch of 'footballers' we have to  support. Anyone seriously think we will bounce straight back next season?  We're a team of losers and I can't see that changing.
