First Time poster...I agree we need to protest but any actions that effect the good name of Aston Villa should be condoned. Banners , white flags good idea and will get media coverage. What about boycotting merchandise, programmes, food kiosks and even Holte Suite. Although I think they are all to thick skinned to care in the way we do

We need to get behind Garde on Saturday, show him that we appreciate him even if those shitbags in the boardroom don't.

Would be good if we could come up with some kind of chant to say who we'd like to stay and who we'd like to go - i.e. keep the manager, sack the board.
'Remi Garde,m'Lord, Remi Garde', 'Sack the board, m'Lord, sack the board'
That's pretty good.  Easy to pick up and sung to an already popular chant.

Simple protest - Don't let the players turn up for work. We need to block all entry to the stadium. Then Aston Villa and Norwich can't play a game.

Certainly sounds simple, how does that work then?

Agree with knott1961.
We need to support our club and remi the one decent thing to happen to us. I wouldn't have blamed him if he'd gone at 11pm last night. Only fan support may convince him to stay. You don't need to buy a pie and a drink at games or programmes or merchandise to show support for AVFC. Hit Lerner and co in their pockets and boycott these things. I boycotted buying a season ticket because of Lerner but I've still been to 7 premier league games for £83 supporting my team. We need to create maximum embarrassment for Lerner,Fox etc so that it is viewed on a global scale. Use.the internet and YouTube to reach America and beyond but do it in a way that shows up Lerner, Fox etc for what they are but Villa fans as having class, loyalty and pride. UTV!! Fck the villa board!

Easy Chris just tell then we are playing away, they would not know where we are playing unless someone holds their hands from their 5 star hotel room till they get on the coach, hijack the coach and drive around the M25 for 3 hours, they will be too busy listening to their Bosh speakers and playing snap for 200 quid a game.

Build a bonfire, build a bonfire
And stick Lerner on the top

'Remi Garde,m'Lord, Remi Garde', 'Sack the board, m'Lord, sack the board'

Best option and the only one likely to take off. Plus it fits and rolls off the tongue nicely. Demi Garde's claret & blue army non stop would also be good.

This and the white flag/sheet/A4 paper thing - yes.

Now if I was the bed wetting, hand wringing type, I'd be running to the mods to get you banned. There's room enough for all opinions in this thread.

I like Lerner's wikipedia page, already got to by someone.

"Thought to be the worst chairman in Aston Villa history with a poor record and not a single trophy to his name."

and Occupation - "Gutless Coward"

Think this one should be sung throughout the game.

You keep boycotting the Bovril stalls and tutting from the Trinity - see how much of that Randy can bear before he cracks.
