The lack of forward options probably means Gabby has to start.

Makes one long for the heady days of Riccardo Scimica starting up front

A measure of how far we have fell is that West Ham can despatch us without getting out of 3rd gear. This will be as routine a loss as you can get. 3-0.

Villa to win this one, I think when Lescott and Okore are restored to central defence, and Richards is restored to the bench we will look much better.

We are due a goal from somewhere, probably Ayew.

1-0 to the Villa.

That fecker cost me a few quid years ago. I'd stuck a fiver on us beating Watford 3-0, the fecker scored our 4th late on.

Our little unbeaten run in the league is ended along with all hope after transfer deadline day passes without incident.

Can we ignore the present and debate the crush and/ or that quarter final?

Shocking night. Add to this the fact I had to run after the Premier Travel coach and bang the door to get on at the lights to get home and you have a lovely night in East London.

We could win this. We just need several better players and three or four goals.

Seriously though, a couple of players in could give us a boost. We really could pull off a surprise.
