2_1 we will play well for a change and miss a hat full of chances that our new striker should have put away. Ah well !

1-0 away win. Quite looking forward to opening the taps up on the new motor going down there too.

I wonder if yesterday's game hadn't happened whether we'd all be a bit more confident about a decent result as the previous 3-4 league games we've looked competent if not exactly prolific in front of goal. I honesty don't know what Villa is going to turn up but I do fancy a draw. 1-1
In another universe we destroy them 4-1 with a brace from the recently out of retirement Savo Milosevic in a fancy but controversial blue away kit.

I think the five games unbeaten was probably a false dawn. After all we went 5 unbeaten in Lamberks first season, and then that was quickly followed by the 15-0 in 3 games debacle.

We've just go so little quality in the side and no real confidence so I suspect we'll scrape 1-2 wins in the remaining games. IF we're lucky.

We haven't scored at Upton Park since 2011 I think. I went last season and that was probably the last decent game Guzan had for us, he saved us big time at the end from Carroll's headers

When West Ham came to VP they didn't have Payet playing and Valencia was still a bit rusty.

To me as much as it annoys me to say this we really should be looking at what they did when they went down in 2011, how they got up straight away and then re-established themselves as a competitive top half prem team.

We're not talking about some visionaries at boardroom level either, it's Sullivan and Gold!

And to think we used to always have an indian  sign over them.

Expecting the worst , hoping for the best.

By my reckoning we've won 4 league games there in 30 years, plus that replayed LC game.
