Liked the way he raved about Kante at Leicester, yet we ended up with lesser Ligue 1 players for over double the cost
Looks increasingly likely that we'll feature on the awful Championship/Football League programme on C5 next season rather than MOTD. I actually watched it last night to prepare myself - more games (11 last night) to squeeze into less time (an hour minus ad breaks so about 45/50 minutes) means about 2-3 minutes a game - not much more than the goals scored. The most noticeable thing last night was how Lambert looked - close cropped haircut, clean shaven, and looking about 10 years younger than he did when he left us.
You can be certain had we got Kante and they got Veretout, the latter would be raved about and Kante would have been awful..I actually think Gueye has really picked up again since dropping back into the holding role.

I thought he was our best player on Saturday. Nothing showy, but was in the right place at the right time on a number of occasions, and made a few good bursts forward, but was let down by the lack of movement off the ball.
This is very sad people. I never wanted Sherwood in the first place and it didn't surprise me when he bombed this season, but does that mean he shouldn't be entitled to work as a pundit and call it like he sees it? No. Besides he's not the only one raving about Spur's defending and I think the statistics back him up so please get over yourselves And another thing MOTD is a highlights show last I checked. Why would they grill him on his time with Villa? That's more MOTD2Extra's job
I don't think anyone's actually denying the guy a living but surely highlights are accompanied by analysis, that's why Wright and Sherwood were there. In regards to the Villa match, there was none...whatsoever.
