It is an odd bit of batting by Middlesex. Scoring at 2 an over, over the last 10 overs. You'd think they'd be desperately trying to score runs quickly.

Maybe they've given up and decided to f*ck Yorkshire over.

I reckon Middlesex want to set a target of around 160/180 and put Yorkshire in with 20 overs to get it.

You're probably right, fucking stupid plan that gifts the title to somerset though.

about 200 from 40-45 would be giving themselves a proper chance because all 3 results are still possible then, this silliness is just taking time out of the game for little purpose.

Middlesex must have got the hump with Yorkshire after they batted on yesterday.

Yep I reckon so - by batting on they made it almost impossible for Middlesex to win. Why should Middlesex set them 180 off 30.....they wont be able to bowl them out in that short a time.

Can see Middlesex and Yorkshire being a grudge match next year.

Come on Hampshire, only 9 wickets to go.

how very odd, after all this silliness Simpson goes out and does that.  Push things along like that an hour ago and you could've been looking at 240 from 45-50 which would've been really interesting.
